Chrome desktop view

Buffalo so I have the first South Division of Google Chrome on my phone for tomorrow I was wondering in chrome Flags is there any way to default home page to the desktop version vs the the mobile version? I always switch to the desktop full view mode but is there anyway to make an automatic at all? Thanks.

Yes...unfortunately the only way to do this is via root, quite a PITA which such a big screen lol
