I've seen a few people talk about doing a FDR after a major update ( i.e. the 6.0 OTA). My phone has been running smooth and the battery life has been great since the OTA, do will it run better if I do a FDR?

If your phone is doing good now i wouldn't worry about it. With that said, a reset wouldn't hurt except for the fact you would have to set up all your apps again, but the great thing about android now is the restore feature. Some apps will have data backed up and on a nexus phone they will all most likely go back to the same place you had them on your phone.

The only app I would have to back up is Maildroid, which isn't a problem. You can see a list of apps that auto backdrop in Google Drive.

    Yeah..... If it ain't broke....

Oh, and since you already have 6.0, a FDR no longer has nearly the same amount of pain as before. A lot of the apps now include data in their backups to Google. So when you FDR, you'll get back ALL of your device config (from Wifi passwords to your DND settings, etc) as well as all your installed apps, and in many cases, the internal data for those apps.

But that's just a fall back. If your stuff came over from 5.1.1 without any problems, don't worry about it. But some people run into all sorts of weird issues after the update, related to some data not coming forward all that well. But everyone is different.

I did another one, simply to get my folders back and apps automatically download.
