Just nuked the N6 and reflashed

My Nexus 6 had become really buggy and lagged during even simple tasks. It would take 5 seconds for texts I sent to show up in the conversation. Hangouts began restarting about a week ago, and camera couldn't be relied upon. Sometimes it would write to storage and other times it wouldn't.

I reflashed with 29X (April 2 update image). Finished restoring everything and so far it's night and day. Back to the expected high performance.

Let's hope it lasts...

It happens to all phones over time. Not much you can do about it except reflash or factory reset. But most people just get a new phone when things slow down.

Well, I had just flashed it in October when Marshmallow was released. So between then and now it got that bad... Two sideloadloaded updates and two OTAs in between.
