I just bought a 2106 Jetta with Android Auto radio. After I downloaded Android Auto App into my Nexus 6 and connect to the car via USB, only the Google Now card comes up and map. The text to voice feature is not available.
I took it back to the dealer twice and they could not get it to work either. They told me Nexus 6 is not compatible. They tried it with a Samsung S6 and it works fine. But I read in the forum that Nexus 6 is compatible.
Is it possible that Google made their own phone not compatible with their own software?
It also will not allow transfer of the Contacts to the car, therefore making voice dialing from Contact impossible thru Blue Tooth.
My Nexus 6 has all the update done.

Can anyone tell me how I can get text to voice work in Android Auto with a Nexus 6? I love my Nexus 6 and don't want to get a Samsung.

    Thanks.
