I recently bought an N6 (love it so much I have a second awaiting delivery) and it's fast or quick charge technology is new to me. Let see if I understand it correctly.

The phone itself accelerated charging regardless of the charger used?

The charger that comes with the phone is special and charges even faster?

The charger the phone seller sent with the used N6, Google Model #MST3K-US, is this the special charger?

Now, what about when using Qi charging? What can I expect to boast charge time after 15 minutes on a Qi charger?

I found this description of the charging system, is it accurate?

"Nexus 6 Delivers 6 Hours of Battery Life With 15 Minutes of Charging: Google
Ketan Pratap , 16 October 2014
One of the most notable features of the new Nexus 6 smartphone, is the fast-charging tech that's powered by Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 and Motorola Turbo Charging. Google on its official Nexus 6 website notes, "Get up to 6 hours of use from only 15 minutes of charging. With a large 3220mAh battery, you get over 24 hours of use from a full charge."

Much like Motorola's new flagship, we expect that the Google Nexus 6 also comes with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 technology which "can charge devices up to 75 percent faster", as claimed by the chipset maker. Notably, the Nexus 6 packs a 3220mAh battery compared to 2300mAh on Moto X (Gen 2).

In addition to this, the Nexus 6 smartphone comes bundled with Motorola's recently unveiled Turbo Charger accessory. The Turbo Charger is said to provide 8 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charging."

Qi charging on the 6 is slow. You won't see more than a 5% increase in 15 minutes. This morning, I put my N6 on the charging stand at a 62% charge, and the estimated time-to-full-charge on the phone's display was 1h 50min.

Wireless charging the N6 is very convenient but slow. You can expect to charge about 5-6% in 15 minutes on a Qi wireless charger.

15 minutes on the turbo charger will only provide 6-8 hours of battery life with light to moderate usage. With the turbo charger you can charge from 15-43% in 20 min, 15-63% in 35 min and 15-87% in 55 min. Charging slows down significantly after 87%.

24 hour battery life is only realistic if you don't use the phone much. I can usually go 12-14 hrs (5-7 hrs SOT) with good to decent signal, 65/35% mix of Wifi/data, 25% or lower screen brightness unless in direct sunlight. Also use dark theme and dark wallpaper.

I put my N6 on the koolpad at 53% battery and in twenty minutes it was at 83% so I'm seeing excellent charge time using a koolpad! Another time I put the N6 on for 5 minutes and it went from 25% to 35%! So perhaps it all depends on the Qi charger, koolpad has three coils.

How long does it take for full charge on koolpad?

Quick charge results, put on KoolPad Qi charger at 10:04 PM with 48% or 14 hours remaining, then at 11:01 PM the battery charge went up to 72% or 20 hours remaining, so in 1 hour the KoolPad Qi charger added 6 hours of battery life, which I'd say is much faster they many have been saying, what has been said was that a Qi charger used on a Nexus 6 is just a trickle, I'm trying to figure out when to allow phone to get to 30% then see how long it takes to get back up to 100%. BUT you can estimate that the Qi KoolPad charger would have gotten this up to 100 % from 48% in another 1.5 hours? or 25 % increase every 1 hour +/-.
