Preferred Methods for Backup/Restore from TiBu

So I am having some trouble copying a backup to my computer. I plan on doing a factory reset on my nexus 7 and would like to restore all of my games and settings. For some reason I cannot copy the backup files to my computer. I tried compressing the backup and was going to do it as a zip file but I still could not move it. Right now I am uploading my .zip to Drive but it is taking forever.

How do all of you save your backups for easy restoration?

Just copy the /sdcard/TitaniumBackup folder to the computer. I like to use adb:
adb pull /sdcard/TitaniumBackup

No need to zip it beforehand.
