Re: Dose not install bootloader!!!!!! help!

Hello,

Can I ask how you were going about flashing the factory images? Did you use a toolkit or doing it manually via command prompt and fastboot?

Re: Dose not install bootloader!!!!!! help!

This is almost the same problem I'm having. I'm using WUG. I have a Nexus 7 2012 HSPA. I was using 4.2.2 and was trying to flash stock + unroot to 4.4.2 using "NAKASIG-TILAPIA: Android 4.4.2 - Build: KOT49H"

Should I attempt with the option to "Force Flash Mode"?

Here is my log/error:

UPDATE: I think I have discovered the problem of having the wrong bootloader img in the update file. I have found the "correct/fixed" bootloader for version 4.23. So, should I just copy and replace the bootloader in C:\Program Files\WugFresh Development\data\Factory_Images\nakasig-kot49h-factory-83d93b5f then flash again?

Re: Dose not install bootloader!!!!!! help!

VSFe, if you are using WUG's Nexus Root Toolkit, I can help you. I found a way to solve this problem thanks to help here and over at XDA. Just let me know. ^_^

The problem is the bootloader img file included from Google is corrupted. I replaced the "working" version from XDA into the folders for WUG's NRT and it worked fine.

Re: Dose not install bootloader!!!!!! help!

Hmm...To be honest. I've only used WUG's. I've never used flash-all.bat But, your problem sounds identical to mine which is apparently the same problem many others have had. The "bootloader-tilapia-4.23.img" file that comes directly from Google is corrupted. So, I downloaded one that was recommended and replaced it with the one that was included from Google.

Is your 2012 WiFi or 3G? Download the correct one from Ged.'s post (http://forums.androidcentral.com/google-nexus-7-2012-rooting-roms-hacks/191477-guide-nexus-7-factory-image-restore-16.html#post3398155) and flash that one. It should solve your problem.
