Nexus 7 (2012) "Booting Failed"

So I'm trying to restore my tablet into the stock factory image

And basically this keeps happening

before a box pops up and it says "fastboot.exe" has stopped working and when I try to boot the deivice it says "Booting failed"
I tried searching up some stuff, and using an older tgz but nothing seems to be working

Don't erase Recovery or System. What recovery are you using , custom or stock?
