During the maddening process to get my shipping information I was told multiple reasons why retail stores got theirs before Google Play Store customers. In this thread, just for fun, lets talk about some of the dumbest excuses given.
I will start with:
If you buy it through a retail store and something happens to the device you have to get technical help through that store. Since you bought it through the Play Store you can get help from us directly (woo hoo :sarcasm.
Reason this is wrong info:
Once you are out of the return period for the store, and if the issue you run into isn't covered by the store (like a cracked screen). You are referred to Google.
