Landscape Mode

Hi folks, waiting on my new 7 to arrive and I have a question:

I know the home screen won't display in landscape mode, but I trust webpages/youtube/video playback do?

I have been hearing that it comes locked in portrait mode so when you get it you will have to unlock it.

It has a orientation lock/unlock button next to the settings button at the top of the notification pull down

Yes, for whatever reason, mine came with orientation lock on by default. Slide notification drawer down, and unlock it. Takes no time at all, unless you didn't know the lock was there.

I had known about the lock reading this forum for the past week or so, but when i got mine yesterday i was so excited i completely blanked on it and got frustrated that it wasn't changing and was like "OMG WTF?!?!?!?! FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!"

Then looked at my notifications and saw it..... had a nice little face palm moment

If you run a different launcher like Nova or Apex, you can set it to rotate everything, even the home screen.
