Nexus 7 streaming hiccups, buffering adjustment?

I'm having problems streaming audio with my new Nexus 7.

The sound just keeps popping out for a second, every minute or so. After a while, the stream just cuts out and I'll have to manually connect again.

I thought it would be a buffering issue. But I have 3 other devices (macbook, iPhone, iPodtouch) that streams the same content without any hiccups.

It's not a source issue either as it has a problem with many places (KCRW, NPR, streams from websites, Spotify, Pandora)

Is there a setting I can tweak? Or is this a known issue?

Forest430, FYI. I'm seeing the same problem with both SirusXM and Radio.com apps. I haven't seen any settings that seems to correct this yet either.
