So, I've been looking online for a way to use my very old Nokia 2730 classic to give my nexus 7 internet on the go and that lead me to this forum where Michal Kali Kaliniaczek says that he's managed to do it here http://forums.androidcentral.com/google-nexus-7-tablet-forum/223607-wifi-usb-print.html
I'm wondering if someone can explain how I can do this? I can't upgrade my nexus or my phone at this point, but the phone has 3g and a micro usb slot even though its not a smart/android phone. A step by step for someone who sucks at technology would be much appreciated!!
Figured it out...you have to put bluetooth on for both devices, pair them by following the prompts on both devices (they'll both ask for a pin), and then on the nexus go into the cellphones settings an enable internet use. It works but its super slow, so a portable wifi device is probably the best solution.
