When I lightly use/press my screen, it makes these waves (or ripples). This really does not seem normal. Searching the web, it seems as if this is quite common. It really looks bad on a black or darker screen. Am I beating a dead horse returning the one I have in hopes the next one does not have this ripple/wave effect?

I don't have the same effect when I'm pressing or scrolling I never press hard either but none of the pixels change under the pressure of my finger under any screen tone. I do have screen lift though. Can't win em all

Relax it's a capacitive touch screen not a resistive screen meaning that you DON'T have to press on it for any reason.

I guess what I meant to say is when I touch my screen its fine, that's probably why I don't have ripples or any other issues. We probably all knew it was a capacitive screen when we bought it.

I wonder if screen lift leads to more of the rippling effect.
