Voice Search works but cannot access websites suggested

If the voice activated search produces a list of suggested websites; no amount of touching, pressing or holding will induce the N7 to go to those websites. A search typed in is not a problem.

Make sure you are touching the top line description of each search result. Touching the url does not open the page. Also, you can't long press to get the 'open in a new tab' option. Just touch the title line. Stock rom, rooted, side-loaded stock nexus browser w/flash in place of default Chrome.
