Android central app

Neither the Android Central app, or even Tapa talk, will allow pictures to show on this Nexus 7. Even the avatar pictures are blank. What will fix that?

The size of the screenshots looks about right for the Nexus 7 to me. Have you tried clearing the cache for the AC/Tapatalk apps?

It looks like your's might be timing out. Possibly a slow connection or apps hogging resources (slowing things down)...

No, everything loads quickly. Phone on same WiFi using same app works fine...

Yea, mine too, but the pics are slow (slower) to load in the app. I don't think it would take much for them to time out...


maybe try a task killer...

Does it take you to the AndroidCentral forums, or do you get an error (possibly that the site could not be found?)

That's the subdomain which hosts forum media content (stylesheets, images, etc.). Since that isn't failing on the device, I don't have many suggestions for you other than rebooting your router and the Nexus 7, and uninstalling/reinstalling the application entirely.

I have rebooted, changed to my hotspot off my Rezound, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Still no pictures.

App works fine on my Rezound, on both WiFi and cellular.

I'm at a loss....

So am I. If you're running a custom recovery, I'd suggest using to clear the cache and trying again, but at this point the suggestions I give are more of general ideas than they are educated guesses.
