About launcher theme apps

I tried so e launchers,

Are they safe to use or is there a possibility for them to harm the os of tablet?

Assuming you are not rooted:

If it is in the Play store and has good reviews, it will not give you problems. Apps cannot 'harm' the device because the OS doesn't give it full rights to do whatever it wants. However, apps can phish your contact list and do a lot of other nasty stuff, which is why you should always be checking the permissions list and reading reviews.

edit:

to be clear, launchers are not any more likely to do anything negative than an app like Angry Birds.
