High battery consumption

Hi,
My Nexus 7 yesterday started to discharge very quickly, about 60% while idling at night. CPU monitor shows average CPU Consumption about 50%, but process list doesn't show any running processes, how is this even possible?. I hope that you can help me.

Do you have a less than optimal/spotty data connection?? Sometimes that can cause battery drain.
Is there anything that could possibly be running in the background? Have you installed a new app right before this happened?

From my N7 or BBPB or HPTP or HP Laptop
