Nexus 7 screen going crazy

Hi,
My nexus 7 wont start or charge when connected to computer/electricity...
at first i thought it was a battery problem, i understand its a common problem where the battery connection comes out and i opened it and re inforced the connection
and after that i connected it to the power socket and it started charging but went crazy and alot of lines ran across the screen and then it went dark and didnt open again...
any ideas?

thank you for the link but it didnt help,
the machine turns off and i plug it into the charger, it takes a few minutes and it turns on and then right off
again and again over and over it doesn't charge...
any ideas?
