Hi,

I've been searching dozens of forums for a way forward on this but i'm completely stuck.

I've been given a 2012 Nexus 7 by a colleague. I have no idea of the history but it has the following symptoms.....

Turns on, I see the white 'Google' lettering, and then it goes straight to the red triangle guy.

It doesn't say 'no command' underneath, just the red triangle guy on his own.

I've tried every combination of buttons to get it in to recovery mode but no joy.

If I hold down the power button, the tablet appears to shut down but then just starts back up on it's own and gets back to the red triangle. I can't turn it off.

I've tried connecting it to a PC (with drivers installed) but the PC doesn't recognise the tablet at all. Tried multiple USB leads too.

As I say, i'm completely out of ideas. Hoping someone can help !

Thanks,
Nick.

You can try (once on the Android guy and red triangle) to press the power button and hold then press Vol +. Then just release both at the same time after a second or less.... That solved that issue for me.... Took me to the reset menus...
