Browsers constantly freezing/crashing

This is a problem I have had for several months now. I have been hoping the 5.1 upgrade would fix this, but it didn't. This isn't just Chrome, every browser I have tried freezes up often. If I do a factory reset, it will fix it for a few days, but slowly but surely, the browsers begin to freeze and crash again. I don't usually open a browser straight up; most of the time I am clicking links in other apps, mostly Feedly, which opens the browser up. Is this due to the memory leak issue I have read about? I try to keep the cache clear, so that shouldn't be a problem.

it could very well be the memory leak as I don't think it was fully addressed in 5.1.

Have you tried running your Nexus 7 in Safe Mode to see if it's a third party app causing trouble.?

I have been experiencing the same on my N7 2012. Opera mobile and Chrome Beta seem to crash less than others. But since the 5.1 update I can't seem to pin a screen when logged in under a secondary account(guest).
