What happened to nexus 7 "gallery" app?

Upgrading to 5.1 seems to have removed the "Gallery" app. Seems like I was using the pre-loaded one and don't remember if it had another name than "Gallery". I've tried installing several others but they are unable to display *.jpg.cpt files. I have no idea why they are cpts and didn't realize the were until today. Oh, here's my question.... Is there an app to replace the old "Gallery"?

You can check out quickpic app. Works fine too.
The cyanogen gallery is available in the play store too. But the normal old app is no longer available.

I was wondering the same... seemed a bit strange that they would remove one of the basic default apps, but oh well.
