    I've looked through the whole menu I think. Can't find it. This is my first go with stock Android. Sorry if its an easy answer.

    That option isn't available with stock. You'll have to get a third party app if you want battery percentage.

    I use GSam and have it put a meter in the notification bar.

    I just pull down the bar in the top right corner and see the percentage there.

    Go to the battery settings and on the very bottom it has a little check mark that says show battery percentage.

    If you look at the battery icon in the system tray you will see a battery percentage.

    If you need it in the notification area use an app such as battery circle.
