Is Nexus 7 a good choice to watch movies in bed?

I am sorry to disappoint you but i am actually watching normal tv shows and movies in my bed before i fall asleep. Unless Falling Skies, Game of Thrones, Hell on Wheels etc. and similar shows are considered "cartoons".

Game of Thrones? Somebody clearly wants a porn tablet :-$

I almost exclusively watch video on mine, it is awesome. I never had a 10'' tablet but laying in bed the screen is close enough to you that will appreciate the clarity of the screen.

Also the thing is really light and thin.

Is Prime free? If not then the movies and TV shows are not free.

Prime is not free. I used to be a Prime Student member where I only paid $35 per year. Once that expires it's the full membership price which is $79 per year.

What you get with that is FREE two-day shipping (depending on if the item is eligible) and also access to FREE Amazon Instant Video streaming. Not everything is free to stream though. Amazon picks what will be free to stream for Prime members.

I never said prime is free it is a membership with amazon. Prime members get benefits by joining via a membership fee. You get to watch some shows that are free to watch if you are a member instead of paying individual cost for them, you also get to borrow 1 book a month for as long as you need it, also you get free shipping a lot of items from amazon without having to meet the 25.00 minimum that normaly applies. So you weigh the pros and con's yourself. I myself find prime a great item for myself. If you want to argue the movies aren't free you can say the same for those 'free' samples you can get at Sam's club with your membership

You can watch Prime on your Nexus 7, too, via side-loaded Flash and a number of different browsers (Firefox works best for me for that).

A little upset there's no app for Android. I've been prime for more than a year and have never taken advantage of the free selected movies they offer for Prime Members... Lol

You said and I quote, "since I am a prime member I can watch all kind of movies and tv. Shows for free"

That is BS. Apparently prime costs $79 per year.

I am a Netflix member. I am going to watch "Orange is the new black" and then "Life of Pi" for free. Membership has its privileges. Oh, that costs $96 per year.

Imo, they are free because I was essentially paying prime just for the 2 day shipping. 2 day shipping alone is pretty expensive and I tend to order quite a lot from Amazon. In my eyes, I saw prime service just for shipping purposes and was even happier once I learned I could share this service amongst family members. Once I learned I could also watch movies, TV shows etc. from their prime video service without any additional charge, I saw this as a free add on because I had no idea I also got this in my Prime membership.

I watch Play store provided movies all the time. Is that not working for you?
