keyboard version 1.1

How do we get the new nexus7 to download the new version 1.1 Google keyboard. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing still.

Anybody know how to get the update? Would like the long press numbers.

It's a rolling update, so it can take a while for it to become live for you. You can sideload it from this link, which was posted by AndroidPolice.com.

OK thank. I'll give it a few more days. It just weird that in the play store it says version 1.1 and even when I uninstalled reinstalled it didn't update it. Thanks

I've got it today in UK on both N7 2013 and on N10. Wonderful! And some of the punctuation speech recognition is working now. Keyboard recognises:

period, comma, exclamation mark, question mark and zero for the digit 0, rather than nought; and semi colon.

Anyone know where they are all listed? I cannot get it to recognise anything like new line or return, or dash or hyphen, or the following: colon.
