    Is it normal for my nexus 7 to get hot near the camera area while watching a video on twitch? The screen also gets very warm.

    If watching videos for an extensive period of time, yes. Also, are you watching streamed videos via Twitch? Because that would mean the device is downloading the video as well, which means it's working a little harder than it would just playing a video already downloaded.

    It shouldn't be a problem. Just to be on the safe side consider giving the device a rest after an hour or so.

    I was watching it streamed for about 30-45 minutes then noticed it getting hot so I shut it off. I just wanted to be sure it wasn't a problem and needed to return it. Thanks for your help.
