Google Nexus 7 Tablet (2013) Kit Kat email app

Since the Kit Kat upgrade, my Exchange email looks like gmail now. I hate this interface for my Exchange email. Does anyone know if it's possible to somehow get the old look or the old app back?

I looked through the settings and couldn't find anything. I can't use it the way it is. I'll either get back to Jelly Bean, find another email app, or get an iPad. I hate this interface that bad.

They are all starting to look like that. My gmail, Yahoo mail and Outlook.com apps all look the same now. It's not a Kit Kat thing.

Yeah, not a fan. That's why I didn't use my gmail app.

Google has never created a good looking UI. Gmail on the web has always had an extremely simplistic interface compared to most others. Now everyone else seems to be dumbing down their interfaces to match (read: iOS, windows). I hate it, but what can we do besides complain to them and hope they reverse course eventually.

I'm going to seek out a third party email app that looks similar to the old one.
