Long press any of the items in the Downloads screen. You'll then get the select option. Tap any or all of the items you want to delete, then tap the delete icon.

This forum is for the Nexus 7, so you may want to post in the Note 3 section. Care to tell us what problems you're having?

Tried BDiddy's method posted above and got an "unable to delete some documents" message. The downloads I'm trying to delete are plain old PDF files. Help!!

PS I have Android version 4.4.4

I have a Nexus 7 (2013) LTE but haven't gotten the upgrade yet. Is it being rolled out to some, but not all? Thanks.
