Nexus 7 / Kit Kat 4.4 - What's the big deal?

Recently upgraded my 2013 Nexus 7 to 4.4, and other than a change in font colors, I really have not notice any meaningful new features - I am missing something?

I hear ya the main thing about kitkat is that it will supposedly run better on lower end devices but there really isn't any devices that can test that claim right now but ya Google basically put a double standard on stock android with the GEL and made a bad decision on not putting it across all nexus devices

Kitkat was more of an under the hood change. If you want the GEL launcher just sideload it. takes only like 3 minutes and works fine.

Ya exactly and for that its not a bad update they just have some bugs to iron out
