So first off, I have my Nexus 7 hooked up to my TV via the LinkS Slimport MyDP Micro USB to HDMI. It seems to work ok except for the fact that it mirrors the display on the nexus 7 so it is only giving me 1080p in 16:10 instead of the desired 1080p in 16:9. When I boot up Netflix this is still the case so there are black bars on . Several articles said the netflix app on the nexus 7 2013 would support 1080p but it is not working for me. There is black bars at the bottom, top and sides. The netflix picture is definitely not in HD, though I don't know how to confirm that.
Also because of the screen mirroring effect the lcd stays on on the tablet when connected up to the TV, this drains the battery faster than it can be charged for me since the slimport adaptor seems to charge at USB versus AC rate.
