You should have a downloads app in the app drawer. That is where they should be, and you can delete them there.

It's still pretty uncommon for Android devices to infected with a virus. What kind of behavior is it exhibiting? Has he installed any of the free antivirus apps out there, like Lookout or TrustGo?

Factory reset the device by going into settings > security > reset.

Sent from my Nexus 5 using AC Forums mobile app

Oh because my cousin loves to visit a porno website. So no wonder why his nexus 7 has been affected by a virus. Thanks B.Diddy I download some an antivirus in his nexus 7. And I scold him too.

Should be using Opera Classic for Android with ID set as Desktop, completely messes up browser based attacks and prevents android market pop ups.

I have same issue--no trashcan icon, can't delete PDF files. Nothing in downloads, nothing in Drive. Anyone?

Welcome to Android Central! Try using a file manager app like ES File Explorer. Look at the Downloads folder using the file manager, because sometimes, the file may still be there--it's just that the Downloads app might not actually see it. This can happen if you transferred a file to the Downloads folder, instead of downloading it straight to that folder.

If it isn't there, then it may depend on what app or browser you used to download the PDFs. Some 3rd party browsers have their own download folder. If it's an app, then it may also have its own download folder.
