Well that seem to be the case for me at least while still using it for an day. I was curious since I've heard two other people say for android L fixed their grounding issue. That seem to be for me as well. Now there are almost no more touchscreen lag in browsing or wrong touches on tiny links.

Took them long enough to correct an 1 year old known bug. Bah, I would still not recommend getting an nexus 7 2013. In less than 6 months of usage, after the stuck pixel fixed itself, another problem came up. Now I have an red burn dot on my screen. You get what you paid for = cheap product.

As for android L, the sweeping prediction is still way off, need more works and I didn't like that the battery no longer has the percentage unless you go into setting to view more details. Also when browsing (since only chrome works and no flash support) I hate it tend to refresh page once in an while, much like back in 2010 when using an I pad 1 with less ram. Is probably an feature to conserve power or ram. Hope they can improve on this more. Just my feedback. Forget about sending the device in for the issue, android L seem to be more the answer.

Android L is in early stages. It is currently a developer preview meant for developers to try the new interface and libraries, not for general usage. The code is far from final so any effect you are seeing now could go away or get better in future drops.

FWIW, I have never had issues with touch on my Nexus 7.

I can only hope the touch issues will be fixed... The only problem with this device that gets me upset is the random touch issues. I can deal with reboots, but playing a game or trying to type a message and having the screen freak out or not register my touch gets me hot under the collar.

It would be nice to see a fix but I have problems seeing how much they can do when it's really a hardware issue.
