I accidentally spilled a medium size water drop on my Nexus 7’s screen today. My Nexus 7(2013) has a screen protector on it. I still haven’t faced any issue with the screen or the touch feature and everything is working just fine but will it cause any problem in the future? As far as I know Nexus 7 isn’t waterproof but from now on I’d have to be more cautious while using it.

If you just spilled a drop on the screen itself and wiped it off then you have no problem at all. I am pretty sure that the glass is waterproof. Only worry if you get water in the cracks of the device so as to penetrate to the internals.

From what I have seen with youtube videos... The Nexus 7 2013 isn't water proof...but close to it... Check this link out.
