Nexus 7 (2013) root problem (desperate help)

Could you help? I rooted my Nexus 7 and when I put the SuperSU folder on and restarsted it so it'd go onto the Team Win Recovery menu it wasn't there on the 'install', so I don't have an OS so it wont load till' I correctly put the ZIP on my Nexus 7. Thing is, my nexus wont detect on my PC until its on the start menu. Does this mean I'll have to use an OTG cable and put the folder on my USB then connect it to my OTG cable instead? Then hopefully it'll be on 'OTG'. Where I can then install it?

I regret rooting this, I really do, I actually think I've broken my Nexus...

Ok thank you so much man im so happy there are people like you out there most of the people who do the tuts on these things dont even reply and now i have a simple program to go with my fix!!!!
