Nexus 7 2013 Stuck on Android Jelly Bean

Hi All,

I have a 2013 Nexus 7. I really want to get it to be on 6.0 if not 7.0 but it's stuck on Jelly Bean. Every time I try and the update dialog, which is offered, it fails out. It's rooted so I'd to get it to at least Marshmallow. Suggestions?

You may have to get a custom ROM to get up to 7. And even then, there may not be one yet.

Or how about 6.0

I don't think there is a stock ROM to Marshmallow. You would still need to go with a custom ROM for that.

MOB30X (6.0.1) is the latest/last stock Marshmallow version for both the WiFi and mobile Nexus 7 2013's. Installing it and re-rooting should be easy enough with WugFresh' NRT. You can even use its 'no-wipe' option to save all your data during the update (tho it's normally recommended to do a complete wipe-and-install for a major version jump, I never have).
