I would like to create a blank home page with the Google Now Launcher and I can't figure it out. I can create a new page by dragging to the right when I have more than one icon on the main page, but when I try to move all of them to the new page and leave the main page blank, it just deletes that page and moves the new page to the main spot. How do I create a page that is just blank?

The whole point of it is that new pages are created dynamically as you need them. You don't "create a blank page" anymore.

This sounds just like the Google Now launcher on the Nexus 5 with KitKat. It will give you an unlimited number of home screens, but it will not let you create a blank. It also won't let you delete a whole screen at once - it has to go one icon at a time. An alternative launcher is the only answer, although then you lose the swipe to google now page.

Littleemp, Yes, I get that, but here is a better way to say it: how do I make my main page entirely blank? I want my home page to be entirely free from icons or widgets other than what is in the bottom tray. (without using Nova or another launcher).

Ah, that is too bad. I really wanted to stay "stock" as much as possible.

Yeah, but Nova is about as lean and light as a downloaded app can be.

IDK man... I've never heard of anyone wanting to do that. That's actually an interesting point that you bring up.

I like the clean, uncluttered look when I first open it up, with folders in the bottom tray with my usual apps and then widgets on the secondary screens.

You can use HD widgets and make a clear, blank widget icon.

    Hmmm, that's an idea...
