    So kind of curious as to how this worked out for you I have heard that other people can use it and then use the galaxy nexus as a remote control for it (using the remote separate app)

    Of course no HD playback on the nexus q since GPU decoding is not done yet

    Got my Nexus Q off ebay for 1/2 the going price via Google Play. Its unlocked and rooted just waiting for developers to make the way! I would love to see someone make a detailed how to video showing how to sideload apk's and flash CM9 to it. The market is about to be flooded with a whole new crop of Nexus Q users once big G start shipping them.

    I use XBMC as my only media player, but have to use it on an 1st Gen Apple TV and would really like to ditch that in favor of an Android version of something...
