So I know they are introducing it October 4th...but when will it ship to customers? Does anyone remember how long it took last year after they introduced the pixel October 5th?

Mine was shipped by Verizon and activated 10/19 last year. Pretty sure I pre-ordered it. It was a bit of a hazy time though so I can't be quite sure if this was the earliest possible time (same time as my 2nd mandated Note 7 return).

According to my Google order history, I placed my preorder on Oct. 4. The phone was shipped Oct. 19 and delivered Oct. 20. I really hope they open preorders as early this year so I'll stop being tempted to get the V30!

Damn, so you wait 3 days to order and receive it 2 weeks or more later. I guess the moral of the story is order right away or risk longer delays/shipping times.

Based on last year experience it shipped around 2 weeks later around October 19th I think. So I'm expecting same, it'll be available for pre-order after the event and ships couple of weeks later.

There are rumors the 2 XL won't deploy until mid-November. I like your numbers better though.
