LG V30 has screen issues .. Same panel as Pixel 2 XL

Been reading a lot of screen issues on the LGV30 especially at lower brightness ... The Pixel 2 XL has the same screen. Very worried about it now! Thinking of canceling my order if I can with Verizon. Here's the link to the issues

If you got it through Verizon, I wouldn’t cancel anything. Verizon has a wonderful return and/or exchange policy. If I notice any issues in the first 14 days then I’ll simply exchange it for the S8+ or the Note 8 or something cheap then wait for the S9+.

I'm not worried. If you're a pixel peeper and frequently look at a blank grey screen at 5% brightness, then we'll have to see if there are issues. Just about all the responses I have seen from folks(reviewers mostly) who actually have the Pixel 2 XL say they like the screen. So we will see. I'm not concerned.
