Went to lunch, surfed the web for ~70 minutes. Had 91% battery left. Normally with my Nexus 6 I'd have 80% to 85% left. Still kinda early in the game, but it looks encouraging.

it's gonna take a couple charge cycles to really know for sure. but I'm at 49% and haven't actually charged it yet. Still on the out of box level.

So far nothing special, by Android O standards: 100% at 9am to 84% at 5pm. Same as I was getting with my 6P on O. (No I don't use my own phone much when I'm at work.)

The status bar battery report misfired once, though. It went from 94% to 100% by magic for some reason. I had to restart to get it back on track.

It's really good. Got the phone yesterday work 80% battery. I got over 5 hours screen on time with 15% battery. That's with installing over 160 apps, surfing online, about 30 some minutes of VR with the daydream. Today I got over 5 hours screen on time again and over 39% battery left when I left work. Started to charge the phone on the way home.

I have the non-XL and battery life is really good. I'm getting about 6.5-7 hours SOT over the course of a full day. For a 2700mah battery, that's really good.

Mine has not been good compared to the other phones I have been using. The XL has been good for about 20 hours, where the other phones will get in the mid 30s. I would expect it to get better. I do miss being able to charge wirelessly in my car.

Here's my stats after one day of use. (I got the pixel 2 phone yesterday) I charged it before I fell asleep last night and it lost 3% overnight (8 hours). Overall I'm happy.
36% auto brightness.

It would be good to know what brightness you guys use your phone at, since brightness and signal strength are often the top 2 battery drainers (besides specific app usage, etc).

This is my first full day on the Pixel 2. Moderate use mix of mostly Chrome, Instagram, music, and YouTube; about 50-50 on wifi vs LTE, average 25-50% brightness, no adaptive brightness. All location, wifi, bluetooth on.

Pretty amazing for my typical use case. In my old 6P, I'd have to charge multiple times in the same time span.

XL. I'm shocked at how good the battery life is on this phone. Coming from a 6P, where in the beginning I was getting 4hrs Max, I'm now at 5hr 28min 37% battery, crazy!

Charge the 6p multiple times with just 4 hours screen time?
I can get 4 hours screen time with mine.
