Tell Me About the Audio Quality...

Got one inbound. The draw to the V30 has been strong due to it's incredible DAC. How's the audio on these P2s?

Using the dongle it sounds almost identical as Pixel, with slightly elevated noise level. Way better than S7 Edge. Basically, it is above average, don't expect it to sound better than V30.

Audio is decent (wireless aptx hd on b&w pc) but like the pixel 1 the eq is terrible and is best left off.

The dongle is the DAC. Buy a higher quality pair of Bluetooth or USB c headphones and get better quality. I've notice 0 noise BTW. Maybe you need better headphones.

$150 highly analytical earbuds from Etymotic. I used this pair to compare between Pixel 2 and Pixel. I don't think I need better pair to detect noise level.
