VZW offering up to 50% off Pixel 2 and XL

VZW is offering up to 50% off both the Pixel 2 and the XL with eligible trade in. The now normal discount broken up over two years applies of course. If you don't keep it for two years you don't get the full discount.

Last year with the Pixel, I purchased a T-Mobile iPhone 4 for $40 and traded that in with Verizon for $200 off of the phone. This year I'm buying an AT&T S7 to get 50% off of my . I can get a good S7 for $150 to save $475, is worth it.

I'd bet money it will. Last year you got a free pixel with a 50% off device. Free meaning statement credits for 2 years.

No. It's new. Max trade in promotion was $300 before. I'm returning my Pixel 2 XL to get the additional $125 for my Moto Z Force.

I'm waiting. I'm betting free pixel 2 with newer trade in just like in 2016. Last year it was announced on 11/5 I think. So we should hear something in the next week or so.

Where did you find the promo end date? I didn't see it. Hopefully BF deals are announced before than otherwise I might just take advantage of this.

I literally just put my Moto Z Force in the mail yesterday, so I'm going to call today and see if they'll swing me the 50% promo instead of the $300.

I am wanting the XL. People keep saying they think the Pixel 2 will be free with trade-in on Black Friday. But are they thinking just the Pixel 2 or the Pixel 2 XL as well? Timing seems critical here. I want the best deal on the Pixel 2 XL between this deal and the Black Friday deal, if there is one.

I have the S7 as well and have this same dilemma. That's why I want to see definitively where the 11/22 promo end date came from. If that's accurate I will wait until than to see if the black Friday deal is announced

I agree! The only thing that has me worried this year is the Pixel 2 line is significantly more expensive this go around so they might be less willing to give out that similar deal

Same here. But, if you got yours online, there's a 30-day return window. If a deal shows up within that window, you could return the phone and repurchase with the deal, or see if the Verizon rep can give you the deal without the hassle of returning it.
