This is really a clash of two Titans. Overall for me the Pixel 2 XL works best in most situations because it just works and works fast due to it's optimization. Combined with the world class camera it's an tough package to beat. I find the Note8 to be better in the business/productivity space because of the S Pen and the uncanny amount of features the Note 8 has like the Clipboard app and the Screen shot cropping/scrolling. While I am leaning Pixel right now I wiIl continue to alternate between both phones and it's close enough I may favor the Note8 or throw in the towel and call it a draw
