That whole part with the moving good isn't doing it for me and taking up a whole lot of screen, really the Emojis I could do without too. Is there a way to take it out for suggestions of attachments?

I don't think you can change that. You can always use a different messaging app if it's something that'll bug you that much.

You can use mighty text to test from your Committee using any texting app. It's better Than pulse but also less simple

Verizon Message+ will do texting from your PC, and just about anything else having to do with texting. I'm on Verizon so I'm not sure if it's fully functional with other carriers.

Cool. I've been using Mighty Text for years. It started out as a plugin for Chrome and now also has a standalone app for Windows or Mac. It's very robust. Only issue is Group and Photo messages come in slower to the plugin or app vs standard text messages. Pulse is pretty cool because you can log into it from any browser window. Mighty text is cool because even if you switch texting apps it still just works. Mighty text pro also has free photo backup, message archiving and restore, and notifications for just about anything on your phone. Pulse is cool because it doesn't do anything but text. Sometimes keep it simple stupid is the way to go. Either way try out both and pick the best. Pulse is a fine text messaging standalone app as well. I use Pulse and Mighty Text on the computer in tandem.

I appreciate it, I'm surprised the stock app isn't most robust. I know stock stuff usually sucks, but I would think Google stock would have all those features. I will try everything out today.

This has been number one on everyone's Google wish list for years. We thought they were getting there with Hangouts but they dropped the ball on that one. Everyone's dream would be to combine Google Messages, Hangouts, Allo, Duo and Voice into one robust app.
