Help with screen mirroring

I have a Pixel 2XL, and I would like to mirror the screen to a TV. I have a Roku and a Microsoft Miracast display adapter, but not a Chromecast. I suspect I am missing something simple, but I am not seeing any "devices to cast to" in the settings menu. Any advice?

It appears that the Pixel doesn't support Miracast, which is how you'd screen mirror to either Roku or the Microsoft adapter. It's not uncommon for older phones to support features that newer phones don't -- if they're features that subsequently became less popular or lost support. Android actually stopped supporting Miracast in 2015 (the same year the V10 came out, so it was one of the last devices to support it): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miracast
