I get notifications from my ring doorbell, but mot from 2 other cameras, Yi, and Wyzecam.

I'll sometimes get them if I'm at home connected to the Wifi Network, but otherwise I'm not getting alerts. I would think it was their apps, but this is happening with 2 different cameras and their respective apps.

I've enable all notifictions and turned off battery optimization as is sometimes suggeted

Did these camera notifications work reliably with your previous phone? Do you have another device (tablet, etc) that you can try them with? Have you looked in the support forums for the cameras to see if there are other reports of similar issues?

This is the only phone/tablet I have, and they worked previously. The support forums did not seem to offer any solutions, though some people have experienced the same problems. Since this is happening with 2 different cam companies with 2 different apps I thought there might be some phone setting not working. If it didn't send any notifications ever it might be easier to track down. But the odd part is that if I'm home with my phone wifi connected I do get notification, but when away, or phone wifi turned off, I don't. In either case, the "alert" menu for both cameras do show that the motion detected event, and it's video clip, was saved to the cloud, so I know my wifi and internet are working and that the cams are sending image and alerts, I'm just not getting the alerts.

They worked previously - and then what happened? Monthly Security update? Camera app updates?
Any settings for these notifications should be configured in the apps themselves. You could look in Settings -> Apps & notifications -> Notifications -> App notifications just to be sure you didn't somehow disable access to those apps. I suppose you could also check to be sure you're allowing those apps to use data (Settings -> Network & Internet -> Data usage -> Network restrictions; also be sure Data saver is turned off)

I have the latest update (April 5) and my Arlo cameras have never missed an alert (Baby... I am Groot) Pixel 2 XL. The fact that your ring doorbell is still working makes me think its the apps.

You will need to have reset the camera and the phone app all over again. This time to make sure that your phone is not connected to your home wifi as your camera. Though some camera/app may allow you to have change the connection after the setting up. But unfortunately most fail to works.
