How to mute all audio but music on Google Pixel 2 XL?

I've got a Google Pixel 2 XL that I love. Except the fact I can't figure out how to turn off all sounds EXCEPT for music I'm listening to on headphones (Pandora). I don't want to be interrupted by dings and other sounds while listening to music only. Can't seem to find a way to do this. When I try silencing or muting sound, it mutes the music too!

That's exactly what I do.
I use a Sony WH1000XM2 Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth Headset.
When I listen to music, I don't want interruptions.
I turn on "Do Not Disturb".
My starred contacts, my wife, etc. will still override but all else will not.
I like the way "Do Not Disturb" works. It does exactly what I want.
