    Hmm, Don't think it's new. Pretty sure I found that and turned it off when setting up my phone months ago. It's in camera settings under advanced.

    I never looked for that setting.It is a good ideal and will leave it on .
    But I always wiped my camera lens anyway before taking a pic , just out of habit.

    I have had the phone since launch and never seen that option. I only saw the option to control the HDR+ toggle.
