The 1+6 can't be used on Google Fi, so it can't even be considered here.
    Not that I would anyway.
Using it with Fi here nobody needs Sprint anyway

It's no competition. The Pixel 2 XL is just so much better. It actually works on Verizon. It has IP67 rating. It has exponentially better cameras. All your photos and videos have unlimited storage at their native resolution. And the OnePlus 6 is made by a Chinese company that has been a little loose with personal information in the past. Going from a Pixel 2/2 XL to a OnePlus 6 would be a downgrade, IMO.

Oneplus has really stepped up thier game. camera is a big step up while not as good as the pixel. Pixel 3 would really have to be amazing for me to consider it over the p3. The UI, extra features and fast charging blow the pixel out of the water.

Also the price that Google is asking for is way too much for what your getting

Exactly, but it's not just google. All these $900 flagship prices are out of control IMO. the Oneplus is so attractive because of the $500 price tag. Every reviewer agrees it's the best value you can get in a cell phone. I might even switch to at&t so I can actually get one. I have a pixel 2 XL and I have no complaints at all. I just hate that it cost almost a $1000 dollars.

Last week I ordered a OnePlus 6 and after using it for a few days I decided to return it and keep my Pixel 2 XL. The OP6 was a decent phone but I was getting too many bugs (random network disconnections and re-connections)

I just don't trust the company so no way I would use them (even if they worked on Verizon).

What is it you don't trust?
I don't think they can be any worse then Facebook ,Google or any others plus they selling a lot of these phones I'm sure if they want to keep selling phones it's in there best interest to not screw customers over

They have had a few oopsies in terms of sending data where it shouldn't. I don't mind Google knowing since I said they could do what they do -- OnePlus sending stuff where it shouldn't go bothers me. Google keeps that in house and doesn't send it where it shouldn't go.

Oh I don't doubt they learned but it lost the trust factor for me. I get some might not care but for me it is simply a no go.

I used to use Samsung and such. Lately I am pretty much only Pixel with an occasional dabble in iPhone.

I agree with you. I have the smaller Pixel 2 and really had to work at swallowing the price tag. It's an excellent phone for sure, but prices of smartphones in general are getting ludicrous! In Canada, an iPhone X is $1300. That's approximately two months' rent for me! I just don't understand it.

The OnePlus 6 is definitely the best value you can get for your money - I wholeheartedly agree.

I live in Toronto and I wish I could say the same The price of the iPhone X is pretty much half my monthly rent.
