Pixel 2xl portable charger(Anker PowerCore II 6700)

I have a Anker PowerCore II 6700 portable charger that I used with my galaxy S5. I do not believe it has USB 2.0 power delivery or even 1.0 power delivery. Is it is safe to use with my pixel 2xl with an adapter. I am concerned with damaging the phone or degrading the non-removable battery. If it charges slow, then I'll get a new one after I try it out, no harm no foul, but I do not want to damage the phone.
If I can't use that can anyone recommend a portable charger that you can easily fit in your pocket.

As far as I know, that definitely won't get you the minimum 15W charging for proper fast charging.

It should still charge your Pixel, just a bit slower.

Some would say that the slower charge rate will actually serve to INCREASE the lifespan of the battery. I have two Anker battery packs that I use with my devices (Pixel 2 XL and Samsung Tab S3), an Astro E5 16000 and a 5000 mAh that was a free gift so I don't recall the model.

Just let the battery pack charge it at the rate it wants, I don't see it causing a problem with battery longevity.
