Retrieving photos from other device

[Android Central Question]

Recently purchased a pixel 2 XL and in the process of setting up and signing in, I bypassed transferring photos/messages/apps etc. I'm signed in but my photos aren't in my Google photos. Previous phone was a Note 8. How do I get all my other photos on to my pixel?

Welcome to Android Central! If you still have your Note8, the easiest thing to do would be to install Google Photos (if not already done), and turn on Backup & Sync. Then let all of your photos backup to your Google Photos in the cloud.
